Tierra de Alarc\u00f3n. Conca<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-65ce34ef elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"65ce34ef\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El <strong>Castell <\/strong>de Castillo de Garcimu\u00f1oz s&#8217;ubica a la vila del mateix nom, una petita localitat de la prov\u00edncia de Conca, a la comarca de la Tierra de Alarc\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Situat a dalt d&#8217;un suau tur\u00f3, amb el caseriu que s&#8217;est\u00e9n als seus peus, el qual en \u00e8poca medieval va estar envoltat per una tanca.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6bc2fc41 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6bc2fc41\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">El territorio<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d44cd81 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d44cd81\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El paisatge circumdant \u00e9s caracter\u00edstic de la Manxa Nord, amb extenses planes dedicades al cultiu de cereal alternades amb pinedes i petits turons, amb el riu Rus discorrent per la zona. Aquest entorn natural i l&#8217;elevaci\u00f3 sobre la qual es va construir el castell facilitaven la vigil\u00e0ncia del territori circumdant, convertint la fortalesa en un punt estrat\u00e8gic per al control de les rutes regionals.<\/p><p>Si relacionem la posici\u00f3 d&#8217;aquestes intervencions al mapa de situaci\u00f3 del principi del text amb el conjunt de mapes que s&#8217;ofereixen al <em>Post<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elturistatranquil.com\/ca\/estructures-territorials-a-lespanya-peninsular\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Estructures territorials a l&#8217;Espanya peninsular<\/a>, podrem fer-nos una idea dels condicionants geogr\u00e0fics i hist\u00f2rics m\u00e9s rellevants en qu\u00e8 es troba emmarcada.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7da8ef3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7da8ef3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Una mica d\u2019hist\u00f2ria<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-62f19c13 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"62f19c13\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Els or\u00edgens de l&#8217;enclavament es remunten a l&#8217;\u00e8poca romana, quan el lloc era conegut com a S\u00e9gar.<\/p><p>Durant el per\u00edode d&#8217;ocupaci\u00f3 musulmana, aquest empla\u00e7ament va passar a denominar-se Al-Borch-Jamal, formant part d&#8217;un sistema defensiu creat pels musulmans a la zona coneguda com La Manxa de Montearag\u00f3n. Aquest sistema consistia en petites torres defensives o alc\u00e0ssers que servien per protegir i controlar el territori.<\/p><p>La pres\u00e8ncia musulmana es va consolidar el 1172, quan les tropes almohades que avan\u00e7aven des de Sevilla van prendre el lloc. La fortalesa musulmana va constituir la base sobre la qual posteriorment s&#8217;edificarien les construccions cristianes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b2311a7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b2311a7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Reconquesta i l'Infant Don Juan Manuel<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ce2e409 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ce2e409\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El per\u00edode cristi\u00e0 s&#8217;inicia amb la conquesta de la vila el 1177-1182, durant el regnat d&#8217;Alfonso VIII. Va ser aleshores quan l&#8217;enclavament va prendre el nom del cavaller conqueridor, Garc\u00eda Mu\u00f1oz. Despr\u00e9s passaria a formar part de l&#8217;alfoz o territori d&#8217;Alarc\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Posteriorment, Alfonso X va nomenar al seu germ\u00e0, l&#8217;infant Don Manuel (fill de Fernando III), Avan\u00e7at Major del territori que comprenia La Manxa de Montearag\u00f3n, sorgint aix\u00ed el poder\u00f3s Se\u00f1or\u00edo de Villena. San\u00e7ho IV va ampliar aquest territori, per\u00f2 va ser sota el govern de Don Juan Manuel (1282-1348), fill de l&#8217;infant Don Manuel, quan el senyoriu va aconseguir la seva m\u00e0xima esplendor, elevant-se a la categoria de vila amb fur (1322). Don Juan Manuel va viure gran part de la seva vida al Castell de Garcimu\u00f1oz.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bb79b26 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"bb79b26\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">El senyoriu de Villena<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-20e90f4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"20e90f4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El castell que coneixem actualment va comen\u00e7ar a construir-se el 1458 sobre les restes de la fortalesa anterior. El mestre constructor va ser Mart\u00edn S\u00e1nchez Bonifacio, un dels integrants de l\u2019escola de Toledo.<\/p><p>La fortalesa va ser parcialment escap\u00e7ada (desmantellada a la part superior) durant el regnat dels Reis Cat\u00f2lics, com a part de la pol\u00edtica d&#8217;aquests monarques per reduir el poder de la noblesa.<\/p><p>A partir del segle XVII el palau va ser abandonat, i es va produir una destrucci\u00f3 i rebaix addicional dels seus llen\u00e7os i torres.<\/p><p>Va ser en aquest per\u00edode, a partir del 1663, que un lateral del castell es va aprofitar per construir l&#8217;esgl\u00e9sia parroquial. Despr\u00e9s de diversos incidents, finalment va ser inaugurada el 1708 l&#8217;actual esgl\u00e9sia de Sant Joan Baptista. Per a la construcci\u00f3 d&#8217;aquesta esgl\u00e9sia, els murs del castell van servir com a pedrera, contribuint al seu deteriorament.<\/p><p>Durant el segle XIX, els soterranis de la fortalesa van ser utilitzats com a cementiri fins a 1974, destruint gran part de les restes anteriors.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-669b4d2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"669b4d2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Rehabilitaci\u00f3 i estat actual<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-78c593b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"78c593b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El 2003, el Ministeri de Foment va convocar un concurs d&#8217;idees per rehabilitar la fortalesa, que va ser guanyat per l&#8217;arquitecta <em>Izaskun Chinchill<\/em>a. Els cantons estan refor\u00e7ats per torres de planta circular, entre les quals destaca la del nord, d&#8217;uns 16 metres de di\u00e0metre, que \u00e9s considerada la seva torre de l&#8217;homenatge. En observar el dibuix de la planta ens adonem que hi ha un llen\u00e7 continu que uneix les dues torres, on hi hauria la porta d&#8217;acc\u00e9s a l&#8217;interior i al pati d&#8217;armes.<\/p><p>Com a mitj\u00e0 per refor\u00e7ar la defensa d&#8217;aquesta porta es va dissenyar un mur exterior, que partia de la tangent del di\u00e0metre m\u00e9s gran de la torre de l&#8217;homenatge, deixant oculta la porta interior, i situant la portada exterior d&#8217;entrada a l&#8217;angle de tancament perpendicular entre els dos murs. Tamb\u00e9 sobresurt a la part superior el que podria ser la base d\u2019un garit\u00f3.<\/p><p>Un element arquitect\u00f2nic distintiu \u00e9s el cord\u00f3 decoratiu tallat en pedra que recorre els llen\u00e7os i cubs del castell, caracter\u00edstica ornamental t\u00edpica de les fortificacions del segle XV.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element l&#8217;esgl\u00e9sia Parroquial de San Juan Bautista, tot recreixent tamb\u00e9 una torrassa amb el campanar.<\/p><p>Pel que sabem, \u00e9s un temple d&#8217;una sola nau amb coberta amb voltes de lluneta i una volta bufada amb un retaule barroc a la cap\u00e7alera.<\/p><p>Es va obrir una portada al mur, d&#8217;arc de mig punt de dovelles de carreu de pedra. Per la disposici\u00f3 d&#8217;aquestes obertures, es pot recon\u00e8ixer que l&#8217;interior estava format per tres nivells. La disposici\u00f3 de les finestres a cada nivell \u00e9s irregular, per la qual cosa cal pensar que estava al servei de la distribuci\u00f3 de cambres de l&#8217;interior.<\/p><p>Al nivell inferior, cinc obertures m\u00e9s petites, que havien de correspondre a estades secund\u00e0ria, amb arcs ondulats.<\/p><p>Per sobre del fris que recorre tot l&#8217;exterior, sis finestres de port palat\u00ed amb arcs que semblen lleugerament conopial, tamb\u00e9 distribu\u00efdes de forma irregular. Cada finestra presenta per sota de l\u2019ampit una tronera d\u2019orbe i creu.<\/p><p>Una tercera planta s&#8217;entreveu per les restes de buits d&#8217;obertura i la base d&#8217;un garit\u00f3, com s&#8217;ha vist al costat oposat.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7f262cf elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" elementor-size-default\">L'interior<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-81bac8a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"81bac8a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>L&#8217;interior del castell, previ a les intervencions modernes, estava significativament degradat, conservant-se principalment les edificacions corresponents als nivells de soterrani.<\/p><p>Com ja hem dedu\u00eft des de l&#8217;exterior, originalment, la fortalesa comptava amb dues plantes addicionals a la baixa i un \u00e0tic, organitzades al voltant d&#8217;un pati central o pati d&#8217;armes, configurant un espai propi d&#8217;un palau residencial-fortalesa. D&#8217;aquests tres pisos originals del castell, nom\u00e9s en queda l&#8217;estructura baixa i algunes voltes col\u00b7lapsades.<\/p><p>A l&#8217;interior de la torre de l&#8217;homenatge es preserva un soterrani que alberga un aljub rectangular realitzat en ma\u00f3, recobert de pedra i amb volta plana.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-96e898d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"96e898d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">L'esgl\u00e9sia de Sant Joan Baptista<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3915a0d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3915a0d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>L&#8217;ala sud del castell es va convertir en l\u2019esgl\u00e9sia de Sant Joan Baptista al segle XVII. L&#8217;espai lit\u00fargic va aprofitar l&#8217;estructura preexistent, encara que presenta modificacions que inclouen un cor elevat i una nau central amb capelles laterals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f573fb4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f573fb4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Caracter\u00edstiques de la Intervenci\u00f3 del segle XXI<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9b5d89e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9b5d89e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El castell ha estat objecte d&#8217;una completa restauraci\u00f3 duta a terme entre el 2010 i el 2016 sota projecte de l&#8217;arquitecta <em>Izaskun Chinchilla<\/em>.<\/p><p>Segons el discurs que tant agrada fer als arquitectes, la intervenci\u00f3 es caracteritza per un enfocament postmodern que busca establir un di\u00e0leg entre escultura i arquitectura, alhora que pret\u00e9n assegurar-ne la conservaci\u00f3 f\u00edsica i la utilitat social., incorporant espais multifuncionals per a activitats culturals, una conviv\u00e8ncia pr\u00e0ctica entre all\u00f2 antic i all\u00f2 nou.<\/p><p>No va ser possible entrar a l&#8217;interior, per aix\u00f2 nom\u00e9s puc oferir imatges recollides des de l&#8217;entorn.<\/p><p>Com es podr\u00e0 deduir de la visualitzaci\u00f3 de la relaci\u00f3 entre all\u00f2 antic i all\u00f2 moderna, el debat i la discussi\u00f3 estava servida.<\/p><p>En intentar una primera reflexi\u00f3 vaig topar-me amb la imatge del castell de <em>Google Street View<\/em> presa l&#8217;any 2009. Podem arribar a valorar que la intervenci\u00f3 realitzada a aportat almenys una mica d&#8217;alegria a la mole supervivent, sense modificar la f\u00e0brica primitiva. Queda perfectament clara la difer\u00e8ncia de moments constructius i fins i tot, gosaria dir, que les puntes met\u00e0l\u00b7liques sobre les plataformes atorguen un cert aire emmerletat o de llances de guerreres al conjunt.<\/p><p>Curiosament, en aquest castell hi conflueixen dues intervencions de dos moments hist\u00f2rics diferents. Al segle XVII es reconverteix la funci\u00f3 militar-palau en funci\u00f3 religiosa en construir-se a l&#8217;interior l&#8217;esgl\u00e9sia parroquial, amb l&#8217;afegit sobre elevat del campanar en una torrassa. Al segle XXI, i tamb\u00e9 visible des de l&#8217;exterior, una actuaci\u00f3 que pret\u00e9n revitalitzar aquest espai amb activitats socioculturals, destacant la introducci\u00f3 de dues plataformes sobre elevades sobre dues de les torres.<\/p><p>Un dels possibles criteris per valorar una intervenci\u00f3 pot ser preguntar-se per \u201c<strong>qu\u00e8 aporta<\/strong>\u201d aquesta intervenci\u00f3: sobre el propi edifici, la seva hist\u00f2ria i la seva est\u00e8tica; sobre la seva capacitat per preservar-lo; sobre el paper que pot aportar a la vida de la poblaci\u00f3; sobre la projecci\u00f3 p\u00fablica, etc. Serien elements per a la reflexi\u00f3 i el debat que deixo aqu\u00ed oberts.<\/p><p>Va ser una ll\u00e0stima no poder accedir al seu interior per tenir m\u00e9s elements de judici.<\/p><p>Centrem-nos ara en all\u00f2 executat. La seg\u00fcent seq\u00fc\u00e8ncia de fotografies recullen el que em va ser possible observar des de l&#8217;exterior sobre aquesta intervenci\u00f3. Sense m\u00e9s comentaris.<\/p><p>A l&#8217;actuaci\u00f3 d&#8217;acc\u00e9s a la portada per una rampa, desconec la intenci\u00f3 de l&#8217;autora, per\u00f2 podem tenir la sensaci\u00f3 de guerrers apropant-se a la porta.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bbfe503 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"bbfe503\" Castillo de Garcimu\u00f1oz, destaca el seu emblem\u00e0tic <strong>castell<\/strong>, reflex de l&#8217;arquitectura militar-senyorial g\u00f2tic-renaixentista de la Castella del segle XV, vinculat al senyoriu de Villena.<\/p><p>En traslladar la noblesa la seva resid\u00e8ncia des dels castells senyorials a la cort madrilenya va sumir la majoria d&#8217;aquests nobles edificis en l&#8217;aband\u00f3. Canvis de funci\u00f3 o esfondrament seria el seu dest\u00ed.<\/p><p>En aquest cas de Garcimu\u00f1oz tenim primer la seva conversi\u00f3 parcial a esgl\u00e9sia, completat posteriorment com a cementiri.<\/p><p>Aix\u00ed arriba al segle XX, on la figura del castell passa a ser considerada com un b\u00e9 cultural.<\/p><p>Com recuperar i donar sentit a aquests b\u00e9ns en estats m\u00e9s o menys avan\u00e7ats de ru\u00efna? Alhora, amb quins criteris s&#8217;ha d&#8217;actuar en la seva recomposici\u00f3? Debat irresolt entre especialistes, pol\u00edtics, opini\u00f3 p\u00fablica i residents propers.<\/p><p>Al <strong>Castell de Castell de Garcimu\u00f1oz<\/strong> es va optar per una resposta auda\u00e7 i, per tant, oberta a la pol\u00e8mica: La intervenci\u00f3 contempor\u00e0nia no ha buscat reconstruir el que va ser, sin\u00f3 permetre noves mirades sobre all\u00f2 que queda.<\/p><p>Amb formes lleugeres, materials moderns i usos vers\u00e0tils, el projecte de rehabilitaci\u00f3 d\u2019<em>Izaskun Chinchilla<\/em> ha pret\u00e8s transformar el castell en un contenidor cultural obert al futur, on el contrast entre all\u00f2 hist\u00f2ric i all\u00f2 contemporani no pret\u00e9n presentar-se com a conflicte, sin\u00f3 com a di\u00e0leg entre mem\u00f2ries.<\/p><p>Es tracta d&#8217;un exemple de com el patrimoni no nom\u00e9s es recorre, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 s&#8217;hi viu: amb activitats culturals, visites did\u00e0ctiques i experi\u00e8ncies que connectin el visitant amb la hist\u00f2ria, el paisatge i el present.
